This page describes how the Passwird social-publishing integration
(the “App”) uses Meta/Facebook data. It supplements, and does not
replace, Passwird’s general Privacy Policy, which covers data collected from visitors to passwird.com.
What the App does
The App automatically publishes new deal listings from passwird.com to
the “Passwird Deals Feed” Facebook Page. It is a one-way publishing tool:
Passwird posts content to its own Page. It does not offer Facebook Login,
does not collect information about Facebook users, and does not read,
store, or process data belonging to people who view, like, comment on, or
follow the Page.
What data the App accesses
The App uses a Facebook Page access token, scoped only to the
pages_manage_posts and pages_read_engagement
permissions, to publish posts (an image, a short caption, and a link back
to passwird.com) to the Passwird Deals Feed Page. That token is stored
securely on Passwird’s own server and is used solely for this publishing
function. No other Meta permissions are requested, and no personal data
about individual Facebook or Instagram users is accessed, collected, or
retained by the App.
Data retention and deletion
Because the App does not collect or store personal data from Facebook
users, there is no user data held by the App to delete. The only credential
retained is the Page access token described above, which can be revoked at
any time from Meta Business Suite (Business Settings > Users > System
Users) by the Page’s administrator.
